The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The entrance fee for Adults (16 and over) is $5.00 and covers your admission for seven days. Children under sixteen are free.
Located northwest of Sedona, Arizona, the Palatki Heritage Site is one of the largest cliff dwellings of the Red Rock Country between C.E. 1150-1350. The dwelling stands much as described and photographed by Dr. Jesse Walter Fewkes, in 1895 from the Smithsonian Institution, who gave them name of Palatki, Hopi for Red House.
26 sie 2024 · Make your tour reservations up to 14 days in advance on recreation.gov. To enter all cliff dwellings you must have a reservation on a ranger-led tour. The full 2024 tour season begins May 12th through October 22, with very limited number of tours per day starting on May 6th.

6 lip 2022 · This large collection of well preserved cliff dwellings featuring numerous rock art was discovered within an isolated canyon near Sedona, Arizona. Archeologists believe the region was first occupied by the Sinagua who are known ancestors of the Hopi.
Provides access for one individual to tour both the Dwelling and Grotto areas of the heritage site. Informed docents on site to help visitors understand the site and its history.
