Mile 6.56 – Iron Ring Rapid: Class V. Once a Class VI rapid, Iron Ring must be taken seriously. We strongly recommend scouting on river left, as there are several things to watch out. The river bends to the left, with current pushing to the right. There are 2 large drops in this rapid, make sure you T-up the waves in both drops.
