Civil Service Commission To be considered eligible for a promotional announcement, you must BE A CURRENT GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE AND HAVE PERMANENT STATUS within State, County or Municipal government for which you apply, and meet all other requirements listed on the announcement to take the examination.
