12 gru 2023 · Seven Seas is the second challenge of the month in Civilization VI, running from December 12, 2023 to January 9, 2024. This challenge returned as part of the Rotating Reduxes called Seven Seas Redux running from August 14 to August 21, 2024.
I tried it out with the English Aquitane, to check out her new bonuses and this map everyone's talking about. I got badly landlocked. The few port cities I managed to found were connected to small bodies of water with no egress to anywhere else and no opponent cities to attack.
Seven Seas have been my go to lately! There is a lot more land than the name of the map makes me think. I tried fractal today and it had much very "thin" and long shapes.
I noticed you didn't add any of Gedemo's city-states this time around. The map probably has enough space to fit them all. Here's the list: Dunadd, Gwaelod, Sealand, Tara, Tintagel, and I guess Avalon and Camelot (legend of King Arthur).
29 maj 2020 · More clustered cities - England's skew towards coastal settling locations means that their Great Works will have less overlap with each other. Less competition for district slots - England will use a district slot in most cities for Royal Navy Dockyards, while France has far less need for Harbours.
