The ePermitting program is an internet program that allows contractors to apply for plumbing, mechanical and structural permits, that do not require plan review, to be submitted and issued through the State Building Codes Division twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week.
Please complete the form below to request an inspection for a Public Works Permit (e.g. NFP-16-05) or for an inspection related to a development project (e.g. PI-16-05). Inspection requests must be received by 7:00am on the day of inspection. Some development inspections require 24-48 hour notice.
Inspection requests for Public Works Permits (e.g. NFP-20-05, FP-20-05) or for an inspection related to a development project (e.g. PI-16-05) must now be done through the Engineering Department's Inspection Request Webform .
A Public Works Permit is required prior to performing work in any public right-of-way or public utility easement. If work is also planned on private property, then a separate Building Permit must be obtained through the Building Division.
