The mission of the Water Department is to provide the Town of Middlebury with sufficient and clean drinking water and to maintain proper inventory and maintenance of the water supply infrastructure. The department consists of three employees that do the following for our community:

The Department also has twelve wastewater lift stations to maintain located through out the Town. Wastewater from homes and businesses in our community flows through over 28 miles of sewer mains, eventually discharging into the Town's wastewater treatment plant.
