The Chicago Construction Codes establish minimum standards for the construction, alteration, repair, maintenance, and demolition of buildings and other structures in order to protect public health, safety and welfare. The Chicago Construction Codes are adopted and amended by the city council.
The Zoning Administrator shall be appointed by the City Manager of the City of Kettering and shall enforce the provisions of this Zoning Code and interpret the zoning district map and text in accordance with the provisions of this Zoning Code.
The Chicago Construction Codes work together with the Chicago Zoning Ordinance to regulate how buildings are built and operated in order to protect public health, safety, welfare, and quality of life.
