The City of Clinton Department of Public Works provides Clinton, MS residents with sanitary sewage service. A monthly service fee is included in each household’s utility bill and is based on water consumption. Homeowners are responsible for maintenance and repairs to their home’s sewer laterals or lines.
The Public Works Department is located at 525 Springridge Road. Office hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with emergency call out services provided after hours. Sewers. Garbage & Recycling. Household garbage is collected twice per week by Waste Management. Streets, Bridges, & Lights.

Clinton Public Works hosts two citywide cleanups per year. One in the Spring and one in the Fall. Our next citywide cleanup will be held: April 15-22, 2023 (except Sunday) The City of Clinton’s annual Spring Citywide Cleanup will take place April 15th - 22nd (except Sunday, April 16th).
Clinton Public Schools; Clinton has nearly 175 miles of city streets and roads. Except for U.S. Hwy 80, and the exits around Interstate 20, which are handled by the Mississippi Department of Transportation (601-924-5452), the City's Public Works Street Department maintains the roadways.
Clinton Public Works provides regular garbage and recycling pickup to its residents. To find out your neighborhood’s garbage collection day, contact us at 601-924-2239. Collection begins each day at 7am, so we ask that all residents have their cans on their curbs by 7am to ensure pickup.
