2 lis 2023 · There are two options to get a certificate for a 9800 WLC. Generate Certificate Signing Request (CSR) with OpenSSL or any other SSL application. Generate (using OpenSSL) or get a PKCS12 certificate signed by your Certificate Authority (CA) and load it directly to the 9800 WLC.

Caution: OpenSSL requires you to provide a passphrase when a key is generated. Keep the passphrase secret and the generated private key on a secure location.

18 mar 2013 · Solved: I cannot seem to get my SSL cert to install on my 5508 controller. I have tried a pfx, pem, and cer. With/without passwords. It transfers successfully, but does not install. And I only get "File transfer failed". I tried on both
