There are 2 ways to check your application status online. Option 1: Use the Client Application Status tool. This online tool is updated daily. Option 2: Check your application status in your online account. You can create a secure IRCC online account and link it to your existing application.
You can use the Permanent Residence (PR) Portal to apply for most PR programs. If we approve your application, you can confirm your PR status and get your PR card. Are you an immigration representative? Sign in to the Representative PR Portal.
If your application is approved, you will be notified by mail within four weeks and invited to pick up your card at the IRCC office closest to you. If your application is rejected, you will be notified of the decision by mail.
