Before heading out to fish or hunt for deer, turkey, waterfowl, furbearers, or small game, be sure to buy the right permits. You can buy them online, over the phone, at any MDC office, or from more than a thousand vendors around the state.
You must have your signed permits on hand when you go afield to hunt. You may use the MO Hunting app to carry your permits afield. Permits cannot be exchanged or refunded. Deer permits may be used in any order, and multiple permits may be filled on the same day, except during the early youth portion when only one deer may be taken.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on beaches and in parking areas and off-road-vehicle areas in all state parks and historic sites. No hunting or discharging of firearms is permitted. Fireworks of any kind are prohibited within the boundaries of any state park.
