Disable the history overscroll thing here: chrome://flags/#overscroll-history-navigation. For me this revealed Win10's default swipe actions which makes it switch apps, you disable that in the "Gestures" in System Settings.

There's a setting in chrome://flags to turn it on. I can't remember the exact name, but it's something like #enable-virtual-desktop-gestures. If you're on Chrome 78, it's a three finger swipe.
