11 paź 2011 · The fix is VERY simple. When Chrome opens in half screen or whatever, put the cursor at the very top right edge of the window. A double headed, diagonal arrow will appear. Drag it all the way to the right. Do the same with the left side. Close Chrome and reopen it. It will open full screen every time from that point forward.

Recently, I've found that the shortcut to toggle full-screen mode on or off does not work on my Mac.
23 cze 2013 · It sounds like you’re trying to enter Full Screen Mode with Command+Shift+F. Like what others have mentioned, you have to use Shift+Command+F to enter Full Screen Mode (with tabs available) instead of Presentation Mode where tabs are hidden.
15 wrz 2022 · With the Chrome Window in full screen mode (green button, View > Enter Fullscreen, or Fn F), the keyboard shortcut ⌘ Command ⇧ Shift F (View > "Always show toolbar in full screen mode") will toggle showing the tab/url/bookmarks bar while in full screen mode.

1 paź 2018 · Type in shell:startup and press OK, an explorer window will open up; Copy and paste the Chrome icon from your desktop to this window; Restart your device and Chrome should automatically launch (after 10 seconds or so) AND display full screen. Hope this helps someone who suffered the same frustration and hours of wasted time as me!
