22 maj 2024 · Ever since my Lenovo laptop did a Windows 11 update on May 14, Chrome has not worked. It opens and closes immediately and have been unsuccessful trying to get it to work again. My laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 with 8 GB of RAM. 500GB SDD with more than 50% capacity. OS System: MS Windows 11 Home.
For some reason today Chrome closes almost immediately after being opened. Tried some recommended troubleshooting steps, like renaming the Default folder, dnsflush, disable-extensions**,** as well as a complete uninstall/install routine.
15 cze 2021 · Now rename the "Chrome" Folder inside the Google folder to "Chrome.old" Then open Google Chrome and see if that fixed the issue. If it has you can delete the Google.old folder as a new Chrome folder should be automatically created.
