Fastest way for chompy chick pet? Just found out today (on the wiki) that the pet drop rolls both on kill and when plucking the chompy birds. Does this effectively make it 1/250 per bird (if you pluck as well) or is that math wrong?
There have been multiple reports of massive, incredibly unlikely dry streaks for the Chompy pet starting June 8th. Chompy pet is 1/500 per kill and 1/500 per pluck, meaning two rolls per kill. If a post didn't indicate they plucked, I'll list it as a range.

The Chompy chick is a pet that can be received as a rare drop from chompy birds, and can only be obtained by players who have completed the elite Western Provinces diary and received its rewards. There is a chance to receive the pet when the chompy bird is killed and when it is plucked.
After full completion of the elite diary, each chompy bird (not jubbly) will have a 1/500 chance of yielding the Chompy chick pet when killed or plucked. After the player kills their 4,000th chompy bird, they will gain an additional one-time 30,000 Ranged experience.
Passively obtained through chompy hat grind. This pet can only be obtained after completing the elite Western Provinces diary requiring 1000 chompy bird kills. If you are in a rush for a new pet, this is the fastest pet to obtain in game, only taking a couple hours on average.
