Ever wonder how chocolate is made? In about an hour, tour groups can experience candy making from start to finish in our 154,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art candy factory. Opened in May 1995, it is conveniently located off I-270 at 1777 Arlingate Lane in Columbus, Ohio.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling (330) 494-0833, ext. 119. (Note: tours do not run on federal holidays, and there is a factory summer shutdown planned each year from the end of June to the beginning of July.

The aroma of fine chocolate and exquisite tasting samples await you at Fannie May Factory! Explore the factory from high above the production floor. Once your 45-minute guided tour has ended, enter the 5,000 square foot retail store, the largest in the Midwest.
Nice tour around 45 minutes long (must call ahead). First you get the history of the two companies and get to see about the cacao bean/pod. Then you go upstairs and watch employees in the factory make candy, package it and sent it off. Last you go into the store and get a free sample and can buy any other chocolate you would want.
During June, July and August, we extend Walk-In tours to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm. Motor Coaches and groups of 10 or more can be scheduled Monday – Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. The tour lasts about an hour. Children under 3 are free. Ages 3-17 are $1. Adults are $2. Everyone receives a sample at the end of the tour.
