In the present study, the chlorophyll was extracted from the leaves from nine medicinal plants and characterized by UV-Visible spectroscopy. Concentration of chlorophyll a and b was calculated using Arnon method. Chlorophyll content was higher in Mimosa pudica than other medicinal plants which are used in this study.
