Sanchez brings a wealth of experience and proven success across multiple levels of the game, and his arrival signifies FC Tulsa’s commitment to building a competitive and successful organization both on and off the field.

Head Coach & TECHNICAL DIRECTOR. Sanchez most recently comes from NWSL’s Racing Louisville FC as Technical Director and Assistant Coach. In 2021, Sanchez served as Racing’s Interim Head Coach. Sanchez also served as the Academy Director for both Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville.
Mike Hohensee was the franchise's first coach, and he remained the Rush's only coach until becoming the head coach of the Philadelphia Soul in 2011. One year after, Hohensee left the Soul to coach the Iowa Barnstormers.
FC Tulsa is Oklahoma's premier professional soccer club that plays in the USL Championship, the second division of U.S. Soccer. FC Tulsa was founded in 2015 as Tulsa Roughnecks FC, but was relaunched under its current name prior to the 2020 season.
