9 lip 2021 · The largest free database I could find was Caïssabase. This is a great resource. The games are not annotated like you would get with the Mega database, but there is a huge number of curated games.
24 sie 2015 · There are a lot of PGN file database download sites, the best and most comprehensive one is probably PGN Mentor at https://www.pgnmentor.com/files.html. They have several databases containing thousands of games that can be downloaded and easily merged into a single DB using a command window
I am updating both databases: CORR and OTB with the latest games published to date, you can now go to the website and download them. In the OTB database you will see that the number of available games has been reduced by more than 1.5+- Million with respect to the last published version.

17 kwi 2015 · I think there is no such database with several millions games in PGN file public on the Internet (and free). You can download it from some sources such as this and combine them, or use online database such as chesspack.com
