The shelf life of batteries and pads ranges by manufacturer and model. Both can last anywhere from two to five years. Most ZOLL consumables have an industry-leading, five-year life span. Please refer to your device manual for guidance and strictly adhere to any expiration dates on consumables.

Check the expiration date of your AED pads (Adult and Pediatric). Most ZOLL AED's utilize the CPR-D pads which have a green tab which shows the expiration date (as shown below). Pediatric Pads (optional) have a similar tab but is blue in color.

Verify that electrodes pads are within their expiration date. Verify that batteries are within their expiration date. Typically 5 years from date of installation.
