Important Information to Know Before You Apply! There are 30 seats available on the LA City Youth Council, 2 for each of the 15 Council Districts of Los Angeles. Before you apply, please review the following eligibility requirements: Applicants must be 16 to 25 years old at the time of application.

Member Opportunities. Members identify solutions to improve programs, policies, and practices affecting young people in the City. Partner with community organizations, civic leaders, and other youth leaders to develop new strategies and approaches to serving youth.
Online member community of teens (14 and older) seeking jobs; full-time, part-time, summer, seasonal, intern or volunteer, work experience; and/or other ways to earn money & the organizations that want to reach them.
