Offering bones at the chaos altar in the Chaos Temple, located in level 38 Wilderness, is the most efficient way to train Prayer, and should be used whenever possible. The altar grants 350% experience per bone with an additional 50% chance that the bone offered at the altar will not be consumed.

I know this may be a nub question to some, however, I’m a mid(approaching high) level Ironman and I collected quite a stack of bones from numerous monsters - I decided I’d start training prayer, the exp from the chaos altar was amazing - however, I didn’t anticipate so many PK’ers…
Step 4: Teleport to Ferox Enclave and use the wilderness teleport until you teleport north of the chaos altar. Step 5: Use all your bones at the chaos altar then suicide at the chaos cultist (faster than spamming the wine). Step 6: Repeat steps 3-5 until 43 prayer
I preferred to use archeuss magic to tele to lvl 27 wild at the cemetery. I think this requires 70 some magic. You run north to the altar and I never had anyone kill me enroute to the altar. Log if you see someone that is pking, but stay with groups of prayer trainers.
