I keep getting APP-1001 message. Channel 5 says this usually occurs if trying to access the site from another country or if I'm using a VPN. I am in the UK and I don't have the VPN activated.

I'm trying to access a website for a British TV channel ( https://www.channel5.com/) on my laptop and each time I do I get an error message that simply reads "APP-1001 We are sorry but My5 is currently unavailable. We should be back shortly. Thanks for your patience."
