The County Treasurer is, by law, the Treasurer and Collector for all drainage districts, unless they appoint someone else to one or both positions. We are currently Treasurer for 57 drainage districts in Champaign County.
Office Hours. Monday - Friday: 8 AM to 4:30 PM (excluding holidays) Due Dates: 7 AM to 7 PM. Property Tax Payments. Payments can be made by mail or in person at the Brookens Center. Checks should be made payable to the Champaign County Collector. Include the payment coupon with the check.

Pay at our office at the Brookens Center, 1776 E. Washington St., Urbana: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, M-F, except holidays. We extend our hours on due dates: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You may also use our 24-hour drop box, south circle drive (under the flag pole) in front of Brookens.
Tax bills were mailed on May 1, and the first payment is due June 3. The second payment is due September 3. If you have not received your tax bill, please verify your information is up-to-date with the Supervisor of Assessments at 217-384-3760.
