Looks to be stainless steel (most likely 416R which is the staple currency of barrels), properly fluted chamber, and in spec. Came expertly packaged. Machining was superb, no rough finishes to be found, nice threading. Price point is excellent as well. Dimensional fit was good in the trunnion I used.
