Central City (セントラルシティ, Sentoraru Shiti?) is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is the capital city of the United Federation.[1] Central City makes its first appearance, albeit unnamed, in Sonic Adventure 2 simply being referred to as the "capital city".[2]

City Escape (シティ エスケープ, Shiti Esukēpu?) is the first stage of the Hero story in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and is playable as Sonic the Hedgehog. It also has a two-player battle mode where other characters are playable.
