9 lip 2022 · So I've got a image I want to print to be exactly 5 cm wide in the centre of a standard A4 sized sheet. How do I scale the image in the PDF that I'm gonna send to the printer dude to be that size on the physical sheet?

1 mar 2017 · In my image below of the 'Image Settings' tab i've: Opened an image 216x21 pixels size, gone to print, chosen 'Image Settings', then changed the setting after the Height box to read 'points'. It correctly measures the image dimensions rather than any approximation from using inches, centimeters etc.
To change the print size use Image → Print Size to open the “Print Size” dialog. Select a size unit you are comfortable with, such as “inches”. Set one dimension, and let GIMP change the other one proportionally. Now examine the change in resolution.
