A bit of a weird question but I was wondering if it would be better for my PC to be plugged into the wall rather than this AVR that I was given for an old PC. Biggest fear would be that a bad AVR might destroy the PSU since it's cheaply built considering that it's from CD-R King.

I wonder if I can still find that headphones or find "Allan" on the nearby CD-R King branch here. The "Allan" headsets comes in several colors, have a very thick cable compared to, say, A4tech. Some models in the 300+ range are even more durable-looking.
