The Bookloan Program is provided by the Associated Students (AS) in partnership with CCSF Library. Eligible students can borrow up to four textbooks for the whole semester, completely free of charge! The program operates out of the Rosenberg Library at Ocean Campus.

Students may request many library materials (including laptops, Chromebooks, WiFi hotspots, books, and Associated Students (AS) Bookloan books) and pick them up at the circulation desk for the library where the hold was placed. Please note that course reserves are not requestable. Use the following instructions to request an item:
Loans are sometimes necessary to help cover the cost of going to college, but since loans do need to be repaid, make sure to borrow wisely. For current borrowers, the Department of Education announced that loan repayments will resume this Fall with interested accruing starting September 1, 2023.
Bookloan makes all general announcements directly to the CCSF Gmail group. Contact information is collected for the purpose of recovering outstanding materials. Personal information is never sold or shared with outside parties. In the event a loan becomes overdue borrowers are contacted by email.
The purpose of the Financial Aid Office at CCSF is to provide financial aid assistance and eligibility awareness to all current and prospective students as they pursue their educational goals. Financial aid is money that helps pay for the cost of education (college fees, books and supplies).
