18 paź 2008 · The CCI CB Longs and CB Shorts are loaded to about 750fps from a rifle barrel. As noted, it's the Aguila Colibris and Super Colibris, along with the true RWS/ Dynamit Nobel CB caps that are primer only. I would zero for whatever is the longest range you can hit your quarry.

Other modern CB type rounds, such as the .22 Aguila Colibri and .22 Aguila Super Colibri, have bullets in the same weight range as the original CB cap with velocities in the 300 ft/s to 500 ft/s range using the Long case. The CCI CB Short cartridge contains a half grain of a fine propellant.
19 lip 2008 · The ammo weight lot seperation ranged with only 5 lots from 40.3 (1 round) to 41.0 grains (3 rounds), favoring 40.7 grains with 23 rounds, and 40.3 grains with 22 rounds, out of 50. Rim Thickness produced 6 lots and ranged between .0380 and .0415, favoring .0390.
6 wrz 2009 · CCIs CB Long and, CB Short are the same bullet and velocity. The program won't let me zero down to 25yds but thats where I zeroed my 981T. Works perfect and about an inch high at 50yds.
11 paź 2010 · The CB Longs and CB shorts from CCI should both be using 29 grain bullets at about 700 fps (in the CCI rifle test barrel). Subsonics should be using a 40 grain bullets at 1050 fps.
