As you are aware, the CBSE has issued Circular No. Acad-05/2017 dated 31.01.2017 on the restoration of Board Examination for class X and revised assessment structure and examination for class X from Academic Year 2017-18 onwards.

This is introduced for awarding subject-wise grades to the students in class 10 and 12 examinations along with the marks secured by them in each subject.
Like Class 10th, the evaluation is out of 100 marks per subject. However, for subjects involving practical work, like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and fine Arts, the division is 70 marks for the theory (board examination) and 30 marks for practicals.
