I've been to the University Club with my family for Thanksgiving every year since 2008. We always had a great time. Dining in Cathedral Hall is very grand and beautiful; it reminds me of Hogwarts! Thanksgiving is set up buffet-style - there's an appetizer table, entrée table, and dessert table.
7 sty 2019 · Well “Cathedral Hall” was really inspired by Crosby Hall in London. The medieval mansion was built in 1483 for the Duke of Gloucester and is the setting for a scene in Shakespeare’s Richard II. But that aside this stained-glass windowed room will wow any of your guests.
13 lis 2019 · Great service, perfect location opposite the Art Institute. Cathedral Hall is stunning and service was first class. The quality of the food is spectacular, as is the view overlooking the lake and Millennium Park. The Front Grill reminds me of a dining room from decades back - they do enjoy the atmosphere from some time ago.
