CatTracks is a transit service for all UC Merced students, faculty and staff. Simply have your valid and legible CatCard ready to present to the CatTracks driver to board the bus. Non UC Merced affiliates must pay a $2 fare per ride.

15 kwi 2014 · The service, called CatTracker, uses the Fleetmatics global positioning system (GPS), to display a bus’s location and rate of speed as it travels. Riders can use a smartphone, tablet or computer to access the tool on the CatTracks website.
CatTracks and Route 22 riders looking for more detailed information about bus routes, schedules, landmarks and places of interest near stops throughout Merced will soon have a new tech-friendly resource at their fingertips: a new website with interactive maps.
If there are such UCM busses that are not Cattracks, what bus is it? The city's UC route and CatTracks G-Line stops at the Merced train station. CatTracks Bobcat Express does stop at the train station, but you might need to request the driver to stop there.
UC Merced CatTracks. Service is available to faculty, staff, students of UC Merced. Shuttle service operates when campus is in session. Regular fare ($2) applies to riders without a CatCard, which include children riding with UC Merced faculty, staff, or students.
