28 cze 2020 · Your question says you have an "80 meter" cable, but the evidence you provide suggests you have a 15 meter cable and a 65 meter cable. If you know the 65 meter cable doesn't work at 1Gbps, adding couplers to the ends of it or attaching the 15 meter cable will not make it better.

Most commonly a Cat5e/Cat6 cable only getting 100 is from a punch down that isn’t the correct cable order, a punch down that doesn’t make a good contact or a broken conductor within the cable somewhere.
Cable, switch, endpoints. I have 5 runs. Two of them (but not the longest!) simply won't negotiate past 100 mbps. The shortest run that is not working @ 1gbps is 25 meters. Here is what I've tried: - I've replaced the jacks at the two ends of the cable like 4 times.
depends on how long of cables your making, if they are simple patch cables (50ft or less) then I recommend simply buying premade cables; because making your own is a PITA. And Cat5e or Cat6 rated cables are perfectly fine for 99% of peoples needs.
