Beginning with World War I, Case has made military knives for U.S. servicemen including the M3 Fighting Knife and the V-42 stiletto (the latter, for the Devil's Brigade). During the 1965 flight of the Molly Brown , astronauts Gus Grissom and John Young used special Case knives on a NASA space mission.
21 sie 2024 · You can determine it is WWII because it was made for WWII bail out kits. The Curly XX stamp on this knife was used on very few patterns but that doesn't necessarily date the knife. If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

5 kwi 2020 · Here's a Case pocket knife with provenance. My grandfather who served in the Pacific during WW2 got this from an American serviceman he met, possibly a Marine or Navy man. It may have been swapped for some piece of NZ kit or another knife.
