I've noticed that I have a lot of trouble with these types of turns so I've been watching YouTube videos where hairpin turns are involved to get an idea on what you're supposed to do. I noticed that that back wheels often 'stop' and spin again during these turns.
16 mar 2010 · Three or more lanes can be created using the Carrera 'digital chicanes'. But there is no factory method to count laps in more than two lanes. This means a portion of your track can be more than two lanes, but the lap counting needs to be accomplished in a two lane section.
A hairpin is a corner which turns about 180 degrees. In this case, the apex for the racing line is about three quarters of the way around the bend (see Diagram 4). A useful guide is that halfway through the turn you should be roughly in the middle of the track.
17 mar 2018 · You need some slippage to get round a hairpin quickly and less grip means less risk of deslot (it is low speed after all). A wider slot on the tightest part of the turn would help avoid guides jamming - you could start with standard slot width at the track join but widen it into the bend.
