17 mar 2018 · If you're going to do a 3d printed one, just make sure the slot is as wide as a Carrera slot, and maybe even widen it a little through the turn. You might also be better off making it a squeeze hairpin with the slots just close enough to have room for the rails (copper tape), having the inside lane move up close to the outside lane.

You remove the standard Carrera guide blade and put the modified version in, allowing your Carrera cars to run on Scalextric track and pass over cross overs and turn through radius 1 turns without ANY issues.
Carrera track is very easy to assemble and disassemble so you can change your track layout frequently if you wish. Curves are available in radiuses one through four, with one providing the tightest turning radius for a 180° corner and radius four creating the largest turn.

26 lis 2019 · Here is my current layout of Prairie Winds Raceway. All four horizontal straights have been lengthened by one full straight since this drawing was made. The 180-degree R1 curve in the middle is a Carrera hairpin curve. I am considering changing to the layout below.
