I’m writing this post to hopefully help xbox series x owners (might work on previous gen too) who are experiencing a fluctuant or capped download speed on their console. After literally banging my head on all of my small apartment walls and trying all possible solutions, I finally have managed to get a steady 350+ Mbit/s DS.
I have a 300Mbit/s package and was only getting 50-100Mbit/a on downloads. Just start downloading the game or DLC you want to download then while its downloading just open your settings and click on you network settings and all you have to do is sit on this screen while it’s downloading.

XBOX is capable of way over 100Mb/s downloads. Servers are capable of way over 100Mb/s, Servers are not being throttled. ONLY REMAINING THEORY: ISP is throttling xbox live downloads, either that or Microsoft is fibbing. I submitted a ticket with tier 2 network support at my ISP this morning.
