23 paź 2020 · Carbon isotopes, 14 C and 13 C, in atmospheric CO 2 are changing in response to fossil fuel emissions and other human activities. Future simulations using different SSPs show continued changes in isotopic ratios that depend on fossil fuel emissions and, for 13 C, BECCS.
1 paź 2019 · We discuss carbon isotope ratios as tracers in atmospheric carbon dioxide and methane, along with DIC, DOC, and methane in ocean and pore waters. We then address carbon isotope ratios of organic matter and foraminiferal carbonate in relationship to their ambient sea-water isotope composition and their utility as non-conservative proxies.
1 sty 2004 · Isotopic analyses of CO 2 and CH 4 provide key tools for better understanding global budgets of these trace gases. This chapter discusses two different methods for measuring carbon and oxygen isotopes in atmospheric CO 2 and a method for measuring carbon isotopes in atmospheric CH 4.

17 sty 2018 · Abstract. The 13 C/ 12 C ratio of C 3 plant matter is thought to be controlled by the isotopic composition of atmospheric CO 2 and stomatal response to environmental conditions, particularly...
29 sie 2022 · Major global change factors, including carbon dioxide (CO2) fertilization, warming, change in precipitation, nitrogen deposition, and land-use change have the potential to significantly affect future stocks of soil organic carbon (SOC).
28 wrz 2011 · Abstract. The stable isotope ratios of atmospheric CO 2 (18 O/ 16 O and 13 C/ 12 C) have been monitored since 1977 to improve our understanding of the global carbon cycle, because...
