4 mar 2024 · The statistics reveal that around 20,400 people were killed in road accidents in the EU in 2023, representing a small 1% decrease compared to the 2022 figures. Only a few Member States are on track to meet the EU target of reducing road fatalities by half by 2030.

Four models had driver death rates of zero. The highest death rate was 205 for the Mitsubishi Mirage G4, a minicar.
