3 wrz 2024 · The new terminal (T3) has modern airport terminal facilities with five floors spread across a total area of 48,268m 2 and 28,260m 2 of partially covered baggage make-up areas. The terminal features six contact stands for Code E aircraft and two additional remote stands.
Kotoka International Airport. Credit: Banku. Ghana Airports Company (GACL) has inaugurated the Terminal 3 project at Kotoka International Airport (KIA). The opening follows successful tests and simulation exercises of the project by the GACL.
Terminal 3 is the newest terminal, opened in 2018. It is exclusively for international flights and is the primary arrival terminal for most airlines. It has nine boarding gates and features a variety of restaurants, shops, and lounges.
23 paź 2018 · By all indications, Kotoka International Airport’s Terminal 3 has been upgraded to international standards. According to website Airport Technology, the T3 departure hall is fitted with 56 check-in desks; 30 passport control counters including four e-gates for electronic scanning of boarding passes; and 8 security gates.
Terminal 3, inaugurated in 2018 is the new international terminal. It comprises five levels spread across an area of 48,268m². Ultramodern facilities with capacity to handle 5 million passengers a year and 1,250 passengers per hour, six boarding bridges and a large 7000m² retail area provide comfort and safety to our growing number of passengers.

How many terminals does Accra Kotoka Airport have? Since the opening of the modern Terminal 3 in 2018, the airport has three terminals.
