CanvasCanvas or e-Learning is UF’s e-Learning system that supports all online teaching and learning at UF. Canvas houses everything from course videos, syllabi, grades, discussion posts, assignments, quizzes, and exams. To access your courses, go to elearning.ufl.edu. Click on “Log In To E-Learning” and enter your GatorLink credentials.
e-Learning is the centrally supported course management system at UF. e-Learning is powered by Canvas, an advanced learning management system. Canvas was created by Instructure.
Canvas is UF’s Learning Management System (LMS). It can be an efficient way to make course material and grades available to your students. It has features that can help you, whether you just want to house a few files or to teach a fully online course. Request your Canvas course shell through the e-Learning Course Request form.
We’ve provided our Top 10 Tips for Success in Canvas to help you meet your instructional goals in the e-Learning environment. If your course shell has not already been created, please visit the UF e-Learning Course Request Process page in order to request a Canvas shell.
Access UF Canvas here. A number of resources are available to help get started using Canvas (see the UF site linked below). You may find the following tutorial helpful in particular: Canvas Student Guide. Help and support for Canvas is provided by UF’s e-Learning Support Services.
