Canvas is a cloud-based learning management system (LMS) used to support instruction. Alpine School District has provided every secondary teacher access to Canvas for their courses.
Canvas Studio transforms video learning into an interactive, collaborative environment. Teachers can design video quizzes and embed them into their Canvas courses using Canvas Studio.
Canvas Observer will allow parents to see what is going on in Canvas courses, view due dates, teacher comments on assignments, and view scores and/or grades. This feature will not be available until the middle of August when classes are loaded into Canvas.
