26 lip 2022 · The EOS RP is a much smaller camera, but Canon has still found the space to include a regular mode dial – a feature missing on the EOS R. What the EOS R does have is Canon’s clever/controversial Multi-function Touch Bar, and a useful top-mounted status display for camera settings.

27 wrz 2024 · The two cameras actually have a lot of differences under the hood, both minor and major, in everything from autofocus to sensor characteristics. The EOS R is more advanced than the EOS RP, but is it worth the difference in price?
Certainly, the R is a nicer camera, but with how cheap you can get an RP right now (especially through canon loyalty program), I think the RP just makes more sense. One of the biggest benefits of the RP in my eyes is that they both have a very similar (if not the same) AF system.

It's a more premium camera with better build quality, including weather-sealing, a higher-resolution electronic viewfinder, and a higher-resolution sensor, not to mention a significantly longer battery life and slightly quicker burst shooting.
