70D, firmware 1.1.3: Don't update or you cannot use ML anymore (educated guess) Canon offers 1.1.3 which will fix vulnerability for PTP remote code execution. I predict you will be unable to rollback to older versions and there is no ML for this version.

If you find that your firmware needs updating, visit the Canon Support area where you’ll be able to download the right firmware for your camera.
28 cze 2023 · You could try connecting the camera with a cable to your computer and using EOS Utility to update the firmware. You can download EOSU 3.14.30 from this website: Canon Support for EOS 70D | Canon U.S.A., Inc. Do not load any version later than 3.14.30.
You can run both Canon firmware and Magic Lantern, to some extent, in QEMU. The emulation guide also covers initial firmware analysis and has some reverse engineering tips. If you cannot find a firmware dumper, feel free to ask; just be aware this step won't magically bring a developer to work on it.
