There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found. Find launcher_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse_loader.exe
1 sie 2010 · If you have installed the Shivering Isles beta patch (1.2.0.410), don't worry - download and follow the instructions in the autopatcher and it will walk you through getting the original Oblivion.exe off of your DVD.
5 kwi 2010 · What happens is that it seems that OBSE won't load oblivion.exe anymore; even if i reinstalled OBSE or tried another version. If i get ingame, i see throught everything, and there's no visible options on starting screen, or it just crashes.
5 sty 2021 · Starting via Oblivion.exe - this showed me the error code 0xc0000005, same with launcher. Redownloading Oblivion. Deleting the Oblivion file in documents. Verifying file integrity, even intentionally deleting a few files then recovering them. Enabling and disabling all DLC. Set bMusicEnabled to 0. HDR to Bloom. Compatibility mode.
13 mar 2019 · Go into your steam library, right click oblivion and go to properties. Then Verify Integrity of Files. It should re-install it. If not, re-install Oblivion all together
Oblivion doesn't launch after running obse_loader.exe: Make sure you've copied the OBSE files to your oblivion folder. That folder should also contain oblivion.exe.
