Pemphigus Vulgaris: This form of pemphigus attacks the deepest layers of the epidermis, making it the most severe type of pemphigus. Pemphigus vulgaris causes the formation of fluid-filled blisters, known as vesicles. These vesicles often rupture, leaving painful ulcerative lesions.
