16 sie 2018 · The CANdi module connects between the Tech 2’s diagnostic link cable and the OBD adapter. The Controller Area Network Diagnostic Interface (CANdi) is an in-cable module that works with the existing Tech 2 components including the VCI, cables and adapters.

If it isn't working for you it's because you didn't install it properly, or chose the wrong options when opening the Tech2win application. I had to try 4 or 5 variations of options before I figured out which settings worked on my car. I’ve updated Damian M’s instructions here.
26 lis 2022 · I have a genuine Tech2 plus the CANDI module and a regular basis the Tech2 complains that the CANDI module is not attached on a regular basis. I have to disconnect several times the CANDI module in order for it to start working again (getting the clicks).

6 paź 2015 · Here is the step-by-step instruction on how to do Teh2 candi interface self test. 1) Connect CANdi interface to the vehicle via 12 PIN ALDL connector. 2) Run and complete all GM tech 2 scanner stand-alone self-test. Disconnect CANdi interface when run Tech2 scan tool self test. 3) Run VCI self test. If the VCI self-test fails, replace VCI module.
