26 lis 2022 · I have to disconnect several times the CANDI module in order for it to start working again (getting the clicks). The Tech2 works fine in appearance. I'm now torn between buying an alternative programming device (which one in that case?) or buying a cheap candi module from china.
16 sie 2018 · The Controller Area Network Diagnostic Interface (CANdi) is an in-cable module that works with the existing Tech 2 components including the VCI, cables and adapters. Installed, the CANdi module is fully backward compatible with current tester functionality.
Here are the screenshots from the Tech 2 showing the 148 version and the release notes warning not to use CANdi for vehicles older than 2005. The line below that, which I didn't scroll far enough to show, reads "Hardware can be destroyed".
