26 lis 2022 · I have to disconnect several times the CANDI module in order for it to start working again (getting the clicks). The Tech2 works fine in appearance. I'm now torn between buying an alternative programming device (which one in that case?) or buying a cheap candi module from china.
If you have any issue with the Tech2Win software doing a connection timer count, or saying the CANdi module isn’t installed you chose the wrong options, or the VXDiag hardware isn’t properly connected to your car’s ODB2 port.
16 sie 2018 · The Controller Area Network Diagnostic Interface (CANdi) is an in-cable module that works with the existing Tech 2 components including the VCI, cables and adapters. Installed, the CANdi module is fully backward compatible with current tester functionality.
I have done some digging on the saab forums and here and my consensus is that: Car > Candi > Tech2 > USB-RS232 > TIS 2000. However I don't know where I could find any relevant except for ebay clones or candi modules.
Tech 2 will not work without the CANdi module, so the message you're seeing is exactly what I'd expect without it. I'd be curious to see these notes; got a link? EDIT: There reported issues with clone Tech 2s, CANdi and v148. As your car needs CANdi, if it doesn't work *with* CANdi, the alternative is to downgrade the firmware to v143 or v136.
22 wrz 2009 · The Tech2 when used with GM's Tis 2 web (you'll need this to program BCM and ECM and a few other things but most of the stuff is stand alone and not necessary) and A/C Delco eSi service manuals online or in print you can check every aspect of your car.
